Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwest Catholic tops Glastonbury
February 9, 2024: Glastonbury, CT 06033 Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT), 74-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Northwest Catholic upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Bristol Central (Bristol, CT) to play the Rams in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout on Saturday, February 10. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 3-13. Bristol Central lost 62-45 in their recent league bout against Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT)
Next up, the Guardians play the Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Glastonbury will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 103-52 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CT).
