Illinois High School Basketball - Lena-Winslow crushes Pearl City
February 9, 2024: Lena, IL 61048 Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL), 64-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lena-Winslow upgrades its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 19-10.
Next up, the Wolves play the Warren Warriors (Warren, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. Pearl City will attempt to upgrade on its 13-16 season record.
