Texas High School Basketball - Lingleville overwhelms Strawn
February 9, 2024: Lingleville, TX 76461 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lingleville Cardinals (Lingleville, TX) and the visiting Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), saw Lingleville's basketball squad wallop Strawn by a tally of 62-41.
With the victory, Lingleville improves its record to 16-14 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Gorman (Gorman, TX) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region III District 19 challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-17.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Strawn will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
