Texas High School Basketball - Mineola overwhelms Quitman
February 9, 2024: Mineola, TX 75773 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) and the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), saw Mineola's basketball squad wallop Quitman by a tally of 65-34.
With the victory, Mineola improves its record to 15-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-11.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Quitman will attempt to improve on its 6-23 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 30-1 record after their 64-29 league win over Mineola (Mineola, TX).
