Louisiana High School Basketball - Northwest overwhelms Pine Prairie
February 9, 2024: Pine Prairie, LA 70576 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) and the host Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA), saw Northwest's basketball squad wallop Pine Prairie by a tally of 75-20.
With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 24-8. Calvary Baptist Academy won 75-35 in their recent league challenge against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Merryville Panthers (Merryville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Pine Prairie will attempt to improve on its 0-21 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 14-13 record after their 77-38 league loss to Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA).
