Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA), 73-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory upgrades its record to 11-12 on the season. The Fightin' Irish travel to Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA) to play the Crusaders in a West Catholic bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Archbishop Riordan won 74-51 in their recent league bout against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Bellarmine College Prep Bells (San Jose, CA) in a West Catholic bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Saint Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record.
