Texas High School Basketball - St. Augustine can't hold off TMI-Episcopal
February 9, 2024: Laredo, TX 78040 The TMI-Episcopal Panthers basketball squad scored 78 points and limited the host St. Augustine Knights to 77 in the Panthers league win on Friday.
With the win, TMI-Episcopal upgrades its record to 21-17 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX) to play the Yellowjackets in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 15-15.
Next up, the Knights play the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. St. Augustine will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Bloodhounds go into the bout with a 13-14 record after their 76-70 league win over Saint Mary's Hall (San Antonio, TX).
