Texas High School Basketball - Turner ripped by The Colony
February 9, 2024: Carrollton, TX 75006 The The Colony Cougars basketball squad scored 76 points and restricted the host Turner Lions to 55 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
With the victory, The Colony upgrades its record to 26-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Reedy (Frisco, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 14-17. Reedy won 62-54 in their recent league challenge against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Turner will attempt to upgrade on its 15-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-17 record after their 70-50 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX).
