Montana High School Basketball - St. Ignatius overwhelms Alberton
February 9, 2024: St. Ignatius, MT 59865 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) and the visiting Alberton Panthers (Alberton, MT), saw St. Ignatius's basketball squad wallop Alberton by a tally of 72-29.
With the victory, St. Ignatius improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Superior (Superior, MT) to play the Bobcats in a B District 7 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Superior won 54-24 in their recent league challenge against Troy (Troy, MT)
Next up, the Panthers play the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Alberton will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 68-10 non-league win over Troy (Troy, MT).
