The Western Alamance Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 37 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Person for a 3A Central contest on Tuesday, February 13. Western Alamance will battle a Rockets team coming off a 74-35 league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 7-14.

The Fighting Red Wolves (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Williams (Burlington, NC). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Central contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Williams was routed by Western Alamance (Elon, NC), 73-36, in a league contest.
