Michigan High School Basketball - Menominee holds off Gladstone
February 9, 2024: Menominee, MI 49858 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) and the visiting Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), saw Menominee's basketball squad hold off Gladstone by a tally of 59-53.
With the victory, Menominee improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to confront the Flivvers in a Great Northern U.P. challenge on Monday, February 12. The Flivvers come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Kingsford won 40-34 in their recent league challenge against Marquette (Marquette, MI)
Next up, the Braves confront the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. challenge, on Monday, February 12. Gladstone will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Eskymos come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Calumet (Calumet, MI).
