February 9, 2024: Rosendale, MO 64483 The St. Joseph Christian Lions basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host North Andrew Cardinals to 54 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Nodaway for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. St. Joseph Christian will battle a Rockets team coming off a 56-39 non-league win over Mound City/Craig (Mound City, MO). The Rockets record now stands at 17-3.
The Cardinals (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Port (Rock Port, MO). The Blue Jays come into the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Rock Port was defeated by East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO), 51-48, in a non-league bout.
