South Dakota High School Basketball - Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] can't hold off Philip

February 9, 2024: Gettysburg, SD 57442

The Philip Scotties basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers to 50 in the Scotties non-league victory on Friday.

The Scotties now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wall for a B Region 7 contest on Monday, February 12. Philip will battle a Eagles team coming off a 70-59 non-league win over Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.

The Battlers (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes come into the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Pine Ridge was nudged by Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 67-30, in a league contest.
