Louisiana High School Basketball - Abramson fells Varnado
February 9, 2026: New Orleans, LA 70127 The Abramson Commodores basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Varnado Wildcats to 47 in the Commodores non-league triumph on Monday.
The Commodores now have a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Collegiate for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 11. Abramson will confront a team coming off a 92-63 non-league win over Holden (Holden, LA). The record now stands at 14-12.
With the loss, Varnado falls to 4-21 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West St. John (Edgard, LA) to confront the Rams in a 1A District 10 game on Wednesday, February 11. The Rams go into the game with a record of 6-14. West St. John lost 61-50 in their recent league game against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA)
