West Virginia High School Basketball - Spring Valley knocked off by Capital

In Monday's league test, the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV), by a score of 55-38.

Next, the Cougars clash with the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State test, on Tuesday, February 10. Capital will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Red Dragons come into the test with a 6-8 record after their 85-59 league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).

The Timberwolves (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds come into the Mountain State test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Parkersburg beat Riverside (Belle, WV), 62-59, in a league test.
