The Mid Valley Spartans basketball squad (Throop, PA), was outscored 53-34 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA)

With the victory, Old Forge advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Blue Devils host Dunmore (Dunmore, PA) to meet the Bucks in a Lackawanna 2 battle on Wednesday, February 11. The Bucks enter the battle with a record of 19-2. Dunmore won 72-54 in their recent league battle against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA)

The Spartans now own a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland for a Lackawanna 2 battle on Wednesday, February 11. Mid Valley will encounter a Chiefs team coming off a 61-44 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-12.
