In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kingwood Mustangs softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Spring Lions.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinney Boyd for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 12. Kingwood will confront a Broncos team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Spring moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 12.
