The Spring Lions softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Aldine Mustangs to 2 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westfield for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, March 27. Spring will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.

The Mustangs (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region II District 14 challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Dekaney was routed by Nimitz (Houston, TX), 25-7, in a league challenge.
