In Thursday's league match, the host MacArthur Generals softball team scored a nice 18-1 win over the Aldine Mustangs.

The Generals (18-11) will now prepare for their match against Spring (Spring, TX). The Lions enter the 6A Region II District 14 game with a 13-9 record. In their last game, Spring defeated Eisenhower (Houston, TX), 16-0, in a league game.

The Mustangs now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Westfield for a 6A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, April 7. Aldine will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 27-14 league loss to Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-10.
