San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, San Mateo upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bearcats host Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA) to battle the FIGHTING KNIGHTS in a non-league test on Saturday, March 5. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS come into the test with a record of 3-0. Hillsdale won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodside (Woodside, CA)

With the defeat, Lincoln falls to 1-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 2. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 1-2. Half Moon Bay won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)
