Texas High School Softball - Columbia bounces Danbury
March 1, 2022: West Columbia, TX 77486 Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Roughnecks now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terry for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Columbia will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Danbury falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cuero (Cuero, TX) to battle the Gobblers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. The Gobblers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Cuero lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Davenport (San Antonio, TX)
