Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host McCollum for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Holmes will battle a Cowboys squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Jay falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Marshall (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Rams in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Marshall lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against O'Connor (Helotes, TX)
