In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Seventy-First Falcons baseball team scored a nice 15-5 victory over the Union Spartans.

The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their game against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.

The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Pender was overwhelmed by Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 17-5, in a non-league game.
