Michigan High School Basketball - Merrill tops St. Louis
March 1, 2023: St. Louis, MI 48880 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI) and the host St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), saw Merrill's basketball squad knock off St. Louis by a tally of 54-42.
With the victory, Merrill improves its record to 5-16 on the campaign. The Vandals host St. Charles (St. Charles, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-17. St. Charles lost 52-29 in their recent non-league challenge against New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI)
Next up, the Sharks play the Farwell Eagles (Farwell, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 3. St. Louis will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 52-30 league loss to Pinconning (Pinconning, MI).
