Michigan High School Basketball - Carson City-Crystal crushes Merrill
January 20, 2023: Merrill, MI 48637 Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), 58-18 in a league bout.
With the win, Carson City-Crystal upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Eagles host Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI) to play the Wolverines in a Mid-State bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-5.
Next up, the Vandals play the Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Monday, January 23. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 52-36 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI).
