Michigan High School Basketball - Sacred Heart Academy can't hold off Carson City-Crystal
February 15, 2023: Carson City, MI 48811 The Sacred Heart Academy Irish basketball team (Mt. Pleasant, MI), was nudged 34-28 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI)
The Eagles now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coleman for a Mid-State battle on Friday, February 17. Carson City-Crystal will battle a Comets team coming off a 65-46 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Comets record now stands at 3-15.
The Irish (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Mid-State battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, St. Charles edged Ashley (Ashley, MI), 54-40, in a league battle.
