Michigan High School Basketball - Vestaburg overwhelmed by Sacred Heart Academy
February 3, 2023: Vestaburg, MI 48891 The Sacred Heart Academy Irish basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Vestaburg Wolverines to 20 in the Irish league victory on Friday.
The Irish now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nouvel Catholic Central for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Sacred Heart Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-43 league win over Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.
The Wolverines (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets come into the Mid-State contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Coleman was routed by Merrill (Merrill, MI), 57-43, in a league contest.
