The Mustangs now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles for a Mid-State battle on Friday, February 3. Montabella will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-37 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.
The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Pirates come into the Mid-State battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Fulton beat Coleman (Coleman, MI), 60-45, in a non-league battle.
