The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) softball routed the host Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC), 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Charlotte Catholic was routed by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 7-6, in a non-league bout.
