March 1, 2024: Georgetown, LA 71432 Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Georgetown improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Block (Jonesville, LA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, March 1. The Bears go into the game with a record of 2-3. Block lost 16-2 in their recent league game against Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA)
The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Dodson (Dodson, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Dodson ran past Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA), 10-7, in a non-league game.
