March 1, 2024: Evans, GA 30809 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Evans Knights (Evans, GA) and the visiting Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), saw Evans's soccer squad get by Brunswick by a margin of 1-0.
The Knights now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeside for a 6A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 5. Evans will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Grovetown (Grovetown, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Brunswick drops to 0-8 on the season. The Pirates host Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to meet the Rebels in a 6A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 5. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 0-7. Effingham County lost 7-1 in their recent league test against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
