The Cypress Centurions softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Hillcrest Trojans to 1 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Cypress improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Centurions travel to Lakewood (Lakewood, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 1-4. Lakewood lost 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Villa Park (Villa Park, CA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the La Sierra Eagles (Riverside, CA) in a River Valley game, on Tuesday, March 5. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-7 record after their 15-3 non-league loss to Colony (Ontario, CA).
