In Saturday's non-league bout, the South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS), by a tally of 21-11.

Next up, the Braves encounter the Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS) in a 5A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 4. South Jones will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Cathedral (Natchez, MS).

The Red Rebels (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against East Central (Moss Point, MS). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, East Central was overwhelmed by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
