March 1, 2025: McDonough, GA 30252 The Union Grove Wolverines baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Strong Rock Christian Patriots to 7 in the Wolverines non-league win on Saturday.
The Wolverines now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stockbridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Union Grove will play a Tigers team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Strong Rock Christian drops to 1-2 on the year. The Patriots host John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-1. John Milledge Academy lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Dublin (Dublin, GA)
