March 1, 2025: Columbus, MS 39702 The Shannon Red Raiders triumphed over the host Columbus Falcons softball squad by a count of 19-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Raiders meet the Potts Camp Cardinals (Potts Camp, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 3. Shannon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 22-9 non-league win over New Site (New Site, MS).
The Falcons (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lowndes (Columbus, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, West Lowndes was routed by Starkville Christian (Starkville, MS), 24-0, in a non-league challenge.
