Alabama High School Softball - Etowah edged by Pleasant Valley
March 1, 2025: Jacksonville, AL 36265 Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Etowah Blue Devils (Attalla, AL), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Raiders host Piedmont (Piedmont, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 4. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-2. Piedmont lost 9-5 in their recent league game against Weaver (Weaver, AL)
The Blue Devils now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to West End for a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. Etowah will battle a Patriots team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.
