River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, River Ridge upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Royal Knights travel to Hernando (Brooksville, FL) to battle the Leopards in a non-league test on Monday, March 14. The Leopards come into the test with a record of 8-0. Hernando won 18-0 in their recent non-league test against Central (Brooksville, FL)

With the defeat, Springstead falls to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles host Citrus (Inverness, FL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Friday, March 11.
