Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Herons confront the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a AAA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, March 15. Brantley County will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA).
