North Carolina High School Baseball - Hunt loses to Northern Nash

The Northern Nash Knights baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Hunt Warriors to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the The Big East 2A/3A match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Roanoke Rapids was overwhelmed by Franklinton (Franklinton, NC), 12-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Hunt falls to 3-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to encounter the Golden Falcons in a Quad County 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Golden Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. C.B. Aycock lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)
