March 10, 2023: Bainbridge, GA 39819 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA) and the visiting Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA), saw Bainbridge's soccer squad knock off Hardaway by a margin of 3-0.
The Bearcats now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Westover for a 4A Area 1 test on Tuesday, March 14. Bainbridge will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Hardaway drops to 4-6 on the season. The Hawks travel to Cairo (Cairo, GA) to meet the Syrupmakers in a 4A Area 1 test on Friday, March 17. The Syrupmakers come into the test with a record of 5-1.
