Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Exporters now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Stafford for a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, March 13. Brazosport will face a Spartans squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Bay City (Bay City, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, La Marque falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Iowa Colony (Arcola, TX) to face the Pioneers in a 4A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, March 13. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Iowa Colony lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Sweeny (Sweeny, TX)
