Louisiana High School Softball - St. Martinville nudges Delcambre
March 10, 2023: Delcambre, LA 70528 St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Delcambre Panthers (Delcambre, LA), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lafayette Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. St. Martinville will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Delcambre falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Gueydan (Gueydan, LA) to face the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 13. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Gueydan won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
