The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) and the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), saw Ashe County's baseball team beat Draughn by a margin of 3-1.

The Huskies (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Atkins by Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC), 12-1, in a non-league battle.
