Blue Ridge Jays (Elkton, VA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Front Royal HomeSchool Flames (Front Royal, VA), 11-10 in a league match.

With the triumph, Blue Ridge advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Jays host NOVA HomeSchool (Chantilly, VA) to battle the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, March 15. The Lions come into the match with a record of 1-2. NOVA HomeSchool lost 9-2 in their recent league match against Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA)

The Flames now have a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph-Macon Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 11.
