March 10, 2025: Shelby, NC 28152

The Burns Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Crest Chargers to 4 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 11. Burns will play a Rams team coming off a 8-1 league loss to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Crest drops to 3-3 on the year. The Chargers host Huss (Gastonia, NC) to play the Huskies in a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, March 11. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 0-4. Huss lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
