The Montgomery Bears crushed the host Crosby Cougars baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Caney Creek for a 5A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, March 15. Montgomery will face a Panthers team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Westside (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-10.

Next, the Cougars face the Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 12. Crosby will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 5-7 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX).
