California High School Softball - Santiago can't get by Esperanza
March 11, 2022: Anaheim, CA 92807 In Friday's non-league contest, the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) softball team held off the visiting Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Esperanza moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Aztecs travel to La Habra (La Habra, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 16. The Highlanders come into the contest with a record of 6-4. La Habra lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Douglas (Minden, NV)
In their next game, the Sharks play the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 12. Santiago will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA).
