California High School Softball - Canyon bounces Santiago
March 30, 2022: Corona, CA 92881 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) and the host Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), saw Canyon's softball squad nip Santiago by a count of 7-3.
The Comanches now sport a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cathedral Catholic for a non-league match on Thursday, March 31. Canyon will face a Dons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Poway (Poway, CA). The Dons record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Santiago falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA) to face the Mustangs in a Big VIII match on Wednesday, April 6. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 14-2. Roosevelt won 11-3 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA)
