Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) and the host Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA), witnessed Sterlington's softball squad prevail over Ruston by a count of 16-2.

The Panthers now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to North DeSoto for a non-league match on Saturday, March 12. Sterlington will face a Griffins squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Neville (Monroe, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 9-2.
