South Carolina High School Soccer - Dorman knocks off Spartanburg
March 11, 2024: Spartanburg, SC 29307 Dorman Cavaliers (Roebuck, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers face the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, March 14. Dorman will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 5-1 league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC).
The Vikings now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boiling Springs for a AAAAA Region 2 challenge on Thursday, March 14. Spartanburg will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
